This webinar will discuss the ultrasound assessment of nerves of the lower limb (from the knee down to the foot).  The anatomy of each nerve will be outlined, ultrasound appearance of peripheral nerves, and sonographic technique to image and assess the nerves, including how ultrasound guidance is used for nerve blocks or ablations will be discussed.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

  • Nerves discussed will include lower limb nerves (Tibial nerve, Superficial and deep peroneal nerves, sural nerve, saphenous nerve) and foot nerves (including plantar nerves and Baxter’s nerve)
  • How to locate, identify and assess normalcy of lower limb nerves
