This 90-minute webinar covers the role of ultrasound (US) in diagnosing and treating Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). US is the primary imaging tool for diagnosis and guiding minimally invasive carpal tunnel release (CTR), which offers a safe, outpatient procedure with quick recovery. Join us to explore the benefits of US in CTS management.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- Learn all about Carpal tunnel Syndrome – from clinical symptoms to the diagnosis.
- How and where to measure the median nerve correctly.
- Learn the value of US-guided minimal-invasive carpal tunnel release compared to other surgical procedures.
- Get step-by-step instructions how to perform a minimal-invasive carpal tunnel release.

Carpal tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is the most frequent compression neuropathy showing typical clinical and electrophysiological findings: Although the symptoms are quite clear, ultrasound (US) has become the first line imaging modality on the one hand for confirming the diagnose and on the other hand to exclude secondary causes. In mild forms of CTS initial conservative treatment can be considered, for patients with severe or refractory CTS, carpal tunnel release (CTR) is indicated. In this context Ultrasound-guided CTR is gaining increasing interest as it is minimal-invasive, safe, can be performed outpatient and mostly enables a fast recovery and a quick return to work. In this regard the advantages of US in the diagnose and especially treatment of CTS will be presented in this webinar.
Why should you follow this webinar?
This webinar is designed to give physicians a comprehensive overview in the sonographic evaluation of CTS and especially deliver a complete algorithm on how to perform a minimal-invasive ultrasound guided carpal tunnel release. This course is ideal for musculoskeletal specialists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, orthopaedic physicians, sports medicine practitioners, and other healthcare professionals seeking to advance their expertise in the diagnose and treatment of
CTS.
