Levent Özçakar
Levent Özçakar is Professor at Hacettepe University Medical School, Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, Ankara, Turkey. He has finished medical training (1997) and residency (2002) at the same institute where he has also been entitled as Associate Professor (2006) and Professor (2012).

Musculoskeletal ultrasonography, scientific publishing and thoracic outlet syndrome
He has organized innumerous national/international courses on the first two topics and also delivered several lectures on the three topics at national/international meetings.

He is a visiting professor in affiliation with the PhD program ‘Advanced Technology in Rehabilitation and Sports’ in Tor Vergata University, Rome and an honorary visiting professor in Royal Melbourne Hospital.
He is the Associate Editor in European Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, the Past Editor-in-Chief of Archives of Rheumatology, the Past Associate Editor in American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, editorial board member in Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine, International Journal of Rehabilitation Research and the Journal of ISPRM.
He is the Book Editor of “Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine”, “Sonographic Atlas for Common Musculoskeletal Pathologies” and ‘Ultrasound Imaging and Guidance for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in PRM’.
He has authored over 650 publications in various international journals indexed by SCI/SCI-Exp.
He is also a reviewer for 85 international journals indexed by SCI/SCI-Exp.
