Dr. Sibel Zehra Aydin

Rheumatologist

Dr. Aydin completed her medical degree in 2000, at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency in 2004 and rheumatology in 2009, both at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2009-2011, she had been involved in research projects on the effect of enthesitis in the pathogenesis of psoriatic arthritis, in University of Leeds, UK. She has been working as an Associate Professor at University of Ottawa, Division of Rheumatology since 2015.

She started her musculoskeletal ultrasonography journey in 2006. After attending more than 10 courses on basic, intermediate and advanced levels, MSK ultrasound now has a major focus in both her clinical work as well as academic research.
