Booking Terms & Conditions

Registration and Payment
After submitting the course registration the booking fees must be paid in full by invoice. An order confirmation will be sent out when the fees have been received, this will confirm your booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Full refund will be made if a workshop is cancelled by SonoSkills BV, or if the workshop is re-scheduled and you are unable to attend the new date.

Participants are required to submit cancellations in written form. Should you cancel your paid booking at least four (4) weeks before the course commencement date, a refund will be issued, deducting €50 from the total course fee.

If you cancel your booking within four (4) weeks of the workshop date, no refund will be provided.

SonoSkills BV, is not responsible for any other costs which workshop participants may have incurred including but not limited to travel, car rental, accommodation, insurance.

If your course does not include eLearning, you have the right of a 14 day cooling off period. You can ask for a full refund by emailing info@sonoskills.com

Postponement Policy
If you have booked and paid for a course and are unable to attend on the workshop date, and if another similar course is offered, you can choose to transfer your booking to the next course at no cost. If the subsequent workshop is canceled by SonoSkills, you will receive a refund less 25% of the course fee.

Please note that bookings cannot be transferred within four weeks of the workshop date.

Course Schedule and Agenda
All workshop schedules and plans are subject to change at our discretion.

Course Program
Note that during the face-to-face meeting participants will be performing scans on each other. A participant will have thre roles: sonographer, ‘patient’ and observer/assistant. We expect all participants to fulfill all three roles during the course. Therefore make sure to wear clothes in layers. If you’re unable or not willing to perform any of these roles, please let us know in advance.

Travel & Accommodation
In case of hands-on courses, before making any travel or accommodation arrangements, please note that your course booking is subject to confirmation by the organization. We advise registrants to refrain from finalizing such plans until the course has been confirmed. An official confirmation e-mail will be sent to all participants when the course is confirmed.

Limit of Liability
SonoSkills BV accepts no liability for death, illness or injury or loss or damage to equipment or personal belongings during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto.
We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the course due to exceptional circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the course, we will provide a full refund, which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement. In the event of a course cancellation by SonoSkills, liability of SonoSkills to participants shall be limited to the total value of the workshop. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

By joining any courses offered by SonoSkills BV, participants acknowledge that they are aware of risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release SonoSkills, sonoskills.com, guest presenters, course assistants and sponsors from any liability. SonoSkills BV, sonoskills.com, guest presenters, course assistants and sponsors will assume no liability for injury, illness or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.

Your Agreement to this Contract
In reserving a place on the course by paying the course fee, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. The person who makes the booking does so on behalf of all the individuals included, and all are bound by the booking conditions.
