What exactly is the included eLearning?
This online SonoSkills course is taught by true interventional ultrasound expert and SonoSkills trainers Dr. Ezequiel Mailand (sports medicine), Dr. Lorenzo Masci (sports medicine) and Suresh Sudula (extended scope physiotherapy). The general concept of ultrasound guided injections is being explained and being applied to the spine. The anatomy, sonoanatomy, technical scanning, and sonopathology of the whole spine is being discussed intensely. Furthermore, information about the most common spinal injections is being given. This ±11-hour, on-demand available, eLearning content is included in the registration and participants will have access for 6 months starting on the first course day.

What is the hands-on course about?
This comprehensive 2-day course is 100% hands-on and under the close supervision of experts Dr. Ezequiel Mailand and Dr. Gonzalo Yamauchi. You will practice and learn a variety of injection techniques of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacroiliac spine. You will inject soft embalmed bodies which gives you a unique real experience. There will be a maximum of three participants per ultrasound machine and a high tutor to participant ratio, enabling maximal learning and uptake of important injection skills.

Who can participate in the course?
Any professionals who are able to legally inject MSK conditions under their countries, state and/or national law such as: radiologists, GPs, sport medicine doctors, rheumatologists, orthopaedic surgeons, pain consultants, PMR doctors and any other allied health professionals.

Prerequisite
Having followed a foundational MSK ultrasound course is a hard prerequisite. It is necessary that you completed a foundational MSK ultrasound course prior to attending this course to maximize the learning of important concepts. If you can't meet the prerequisite we can help you with getting trained hands-on, on a foundational level. We recommend following the SonoSkills foundational MSK ultrasound boot camp of all extremity joints.
Adding to the previously mentioned hard prerequisite we recommend you to also having ultrasound guided injections experience within the extremity joints. We have noticed that having experience in ultrasound guided injections helps when entering this course.
